This training aims to build a clear and practical understanding of AI, including its mechanisms, capabilities, and limitations. It will cover the opportunities AI presents, alongside the ethical, social, and organizational responsibilities that come with its use. The course is designed to equip participants with the essential awareness and critical thinking skills needed to engage with AI confidently, responsibly, and effectively in the workplace.

Day 1 (9 AM to 5 PM)

Module 1: What & Why AI Matters in Today's Workplace

  • Simple definition of AI and machine learning
  • Time savings and automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Examples of AI people already use daily (maps, spam filters, voice assistants)
  • What AI cannot do (critical thinking, judgment, context understanding at human level)
  • Faster access to information
  • Improved customer and employee experiences
  • Enhanced decision making

Module 2: Practical AI Use Cases for Daily Work

  • Drafting emails, summaries, meeting notes
  • Creating reports or presentations
  • Brainstorming ideas and problem-solving
  • Translating or rewriting content
  • Data extraction from documents
  • Planning tasks or generating checklists
  • Customer support replies
  • Writing code or simple automations (for technical roles)

Module 3: How to Use AI Effectively (Prompting Basics)
